Remila Scarlet Papercraft by Magedark9 Remila Scarlet Papercraft by Magedark9
Remila Scarlet (レミリアスカーレット) from the Touhou project. She's the mistress of SDM. She precariously hangs upon that tinky stand of hers, and by the power of physics, she is capable of standing on that without a weight, but I decided to weigh it down with some change just in case.

Awwww! That's an awesome papercraft! Did you design it yourself or did you get the pattern from somewhere? I'd be curious to try something like that ^^

I found the design floating on the internet. This is a fairly tricky project, but it's easily doable with some time :].

Awesome. :D You wouldn't happen to have the patterns still would you? (Or seen any others in the same style?) I'd love it if you could send it my way ^^

Well, I'll send it to you then. It may be a complex ordeal to begin such a product if your a beginner, so just ask if you have any questions.

Thanks!!

I've done a little papercraft before, but not this complicated. As long as there aren't weird instructions I don't understand, I think I'll be okay. ^^

What thickness/kind of paper did you use, by the way? It seems like a tough decision to balance between sturdiness and ease of folding.

Well, the instructions are pretty necessary I think...I just never had to upload big files before, so do you have any idea?
Thickness...I'm not sure, but I know it's cardstock. That's thicker than printer paper. You have to score every fold with a bone folder or lead-less mechanical pencil before cutting it out before you get to folding it, otherwise it'll look badly bent.

You could try a site like this to upload a big file: [link]

Ah, a lead-less mechanical pencil is a good idea! I used to use a half of scissors, but that's a little risky (both if you cut too deep and it cuts through, or if you hurt yourself XD ).

I bought a bone folder from my Michaels, so I'm good. A lead-less pencil is great, but make sure the tip is metal, and you use a ruler to score folds. Make sure it isn't wet, and that the tip doesn't retract :).
-Is uploading files now-
